The Aiken County Teen Pregnancy Prevention Council (ACTPPC) was developed in 1994 as a 501(c)3 organization through a partnership among public institutions and private citizens within the community.

May PressConferencePhotoEvidence-based teen pregnancy prevention programs will be implemented in all public middle schools and high schools in Aiken County beginning with the 2016-17 school year.

The high school program, Making Proud Choices!, will target ninth-graders. The curriculum will encourage abstinence, but also will provide information about the use of condoms for teenagers who decide to become sexually active.
